Winner of the Ford Fusion Battle of the Bands, featured artist in Rolling Stone's 1000th issue, over 27K myspace friends, 60K myspace plays... headlining NYC with the Fray... voted the best unsigned act in America by Rolling Stone readers... this powerhouse female duo rocks it and rocks hard... and man have they got it all: the look, the sound, the drive. Giant! And what's the best $$$ they ever spent on the music industry? Yep, buying Indie Band Manager, lol.

Klik (Stephanie on vocals, Chrissy on guitar) emailed me the other day asking for a commercial radio station list rather than the indie-centric one included in PRO. I sent a couple of links to free ones on the internet. 17 hours later they wrote back saying they were all set. Here's an excerpt from our email exchange:

See what I mean by drive, wow! Rather than spend 1000s of dollars buying radio station lists, they just took Indie Band Manager and the internet and spent 17 hours working hard. Done. That is so powerful and cool, my hat's off to them. I emailed them back saying if they kept working that hard they'd never get themselves OUT of the music industry, lol.

So there it is, a giant rock outfit is using Indie Band Manager to drive to success. Sure they've got the look, they've got the sound... but what sets them apart is the drive. Even though it looks like they have everything going for them and unlimited potential, they're working relentlessly to move forward without breaking the bank... and that to me is key.
